DFV is a company founded by the De Francesco family in 1972. It is a solid and rapidly growing global business, which has now become a reference point in the market of painting of extruded aluminium profiles and rolled sections for architectural and industrial use, and is acknowledged as a national leader in the field of wood-effect decorations executed with the Ezy® powder-on-powder technology.
History
Established in Surano, in the province of Lecce, DFV is the result of the vision of its founder, Pietro De Francesco. Today, his sons Luciano, Tina and Franco continue, with tenacity and determination, to lead this ever-growing and constantly evolving global company. They work in tandem with young, competent and enthusiastic staff, in addition to highly specialized technical staff.
Always in line with the change and refinement of customer needs, the management supports innovation, continuous improvement and implementation of new techniques for painting aluminium extruded profiles and rolled sections for architectural and industrial use, capable of transferring the emotion of colour and the magic of touch, while until yesterday aluminium was only able to offer the cold security of indestructibility.
Services offered
Every day, the promise of excellence signed by DFV is consolidated in the services offered to over 1,300 customers, ensuring the complete cycle of goods handling. On the basis of pre-arranged weekly appointments, the company vehicles deliver the products to their destination and, at the same time, collect the raw material to be sent for processing.
DFV guarantees a capillary and efficient distribution network: it counts on a large number of vehicles, all equipped with cantilevers, and on the quality of packaging to offer greater protection and safety to products during handling and transport. Moreover, thanks to the careful management of logistics, it ensures quick short delivery times (between 5 and 10 working days). Finally, a detailed order monitoring system allows customers to follow the processing steps through the online query of the order status. In addition, for customers who use the deposit account, there is a picking and order preparation service with an entire dedicated line connected directly to the automated warehouse.

Actually, to achieve excellent performance, technologically advanced management and monitoring tools are not enough, but there is a need for a determined, competent and up-to-date team that believes in great values, such as respect for the environment. Working in safety and pursuing research and innovation are goals that go hand in hand with environmental care and sustainability.
In fact, DFV only makes use of non-toxic Qualicoat-certified polyester powder paints, of which it knows perfectly every kind of application. In the special booths, the painting is executed by means of spray guns that colour the bars with slow and continuous movement. Therefore, the electrostatic powder application causes the colour to reach uniformly all the sides of the profiles. The back collection film allows the recovery of about 97% of the powders not adhering to the profiles, and the suction system prevents unnecessary and harmful dispersions in the air, keeping a constant safety level for the working environment.
